A prestigious celebration recognising the individuals, independents, and businesses shaping Northern Ireland’s thriving Food To Go industry. From artisan coffee shops and street food traders to established takeaway brands and local favourites, the awards showcase the businesses driving innovation, quality, and customer experience across the sector.
Industry Recognition
Hosted by the NI Food To Go Association, the awards platform has been created to highlight creativity, consistency, and excellence within Northern Ireland’s fast-growing food scene. Open to businesses of all sizes, the categories are designed to fairly recognise the diverse range of operators contributing to the industry every day.
Independent Judging
All entries are reviewed by an independent panel of judges selected for their experience and understanding of the Food To Go sector. Winners are chosen against carefully defined criteria, ensuring every award reflects genuine achievement, quality, and industry impact.
The 2026 Gala
The winners will be announced at a premium black-tie gala evening bringing together Northern Ireland’s leading Food To Go businesses, partners, and industry professionals for a night dedicated to celebrating success, growth, and excellence across the industry.

With a strong presence across Northern Ireland’s entertainment and hospitality scene, Ibe Sesay is one of the region’s most recognisable radio personalities. Best known as the host of Q Radio Drive, Ibe brings energy, charisma, and a natural connection with audiences both on-air and at live events. As host of the Northern Ireland Food To Go Awards 2026, he will help deliver an unforgettable evening celebrating the very best of the local Food To Go industry.

Meet The Founder
With over 12 years of experience within the food industry, Michael Henderson has become a well-known and respected figure across Northern Ireland’s Food To Go sector. Through the launch of the Northern Ireland Food To Go Association, Michael created an organisation dedicated to supporting and representing fast-food outlets, cafés, coffee shops, and independent food businesses throughout the region.
Built on a strong understanding of the challenges faced within the industry, the association provides expert support, training, recruitment assistance, advice, and exclusive member benefits designed to help businesses grow and succeed.
Driven by Michael’s leadership and vision, the Northern Ireland Food To Go Association continues to champion industry standards while helping strengthen and unite the thriving Food To Go sector across Northern Ireland.
